On this fun and interactive Curious Courses workshop, Andreas aims to nurture the joy of taking good photos in the next generation by covering the following:

  • Provide a basic understanding of cameras and photography
  • Learn how to handle a professional Nikon digital SLR camera (cameras will be provided)
  • Interactive hands-on practical session cultivating that creativity (outdoors when weather permits)
  • Group photo analysis and discussion
  • Experience the ins and outs of a working photo studio

About the Speaker

Andreas runs a small boutique studio for photography in the old part of Zurich called “Oberdorf”. He is a talented as well as versatile photographer covering fine art landscape, beautiful brides, professional portraits and family photos, both in and out of his studio. With a keen eye for detail, he manages to bring out the characters in those that are faced with his lens. Andreas holds the position of Actuary for the vfg, an association of around 270 creative photographers whose aim is to strengthen the position of professional photography in Switzerland.
